Not Designed For Internet Explorer (IE)

Sorry guys and girls, this site is not best viewed with Internet Explorer (IE).

This site is written in XHTML 1.0 and designed using CSS. Microsoft Internet Explorer may not render theses standards correctly. Alternative web browsers provide a better web experience! Go and get one of these other browers: Safari, Firefox or Opera.

You may be able to see most of this site, however, it will probably not be the best experience. And I am neither in the mood nor do I have the time to deal with deficient programs.

It's seems to work fine in IE for me.

Yes, it seems, but actually it is not. In the half transparent brown area in the header picture used to live the navigation bar. IE doesn't place it there. In IE, you can find it at very right side of the page.

Furthermore, all my external links, like Safari or Firefox in this post, are decorated with a small icon indicating that this link is an external one. This is done by conditional CSS tags, which again IE cannot render.
There might be more things, but these two are the main important errors occuring when using IE.

Tis always nice to have a cross-compatible website though. Keep all your audience in mind. I know it makes things tough, but with a good command in CSS, it should be a jiffy.

It is certainly important and right to keep the audience in mind. However, as I already explained, I donnot have the time to deal with program which are out of date and not able to deal with standards. 3 out off 4 browsers render the site correctly. IE is the one that does not. And I am absolutely not in the mood to waste my time in searching the web or CSS forums to find the prober fix for IE. Sorry about that! IE was up-to-date and a front frunner maybe still 1 year ago, but things have changed. Now, IE is the last browser in row of my and many other's choice. And many webserver statistics can prove this.
