    It is a camellia (I hope I spelled that right). Beautiful flowers! I love the shot of the white one veined in purple.

    Die Pflanze heisst Kamelie oder Camillia (englisch)! Genau so eine gibt es im Pillnitzer Schlosspark!!!!! Eine Raritaet in dieser Gegend, da das Klima eigentlich viel zu kalt ist! Du warst bestimmt auch schon dort, da hat man doch extra ein Haus drum gebaut, welches auf Schienen hin und her bewegt werden kann!Komm doch mal nach Ealing, in unserem Garten wachsen gleich drei davon!!!     Hallo Jana,

    na klar kenne ich die Kamelie in Pillnitz. Das ist doch eines der Wahrzeichen von Schloss Pillnitz und Dresden. Nur habe ich die gute nicht gleich wiedererkannt, als ich das Bild gemacht habe. Mir war sie vertraut, aber der Name kam mir einfach nicht in den Sinn.
    Das mit Ealing muessen wir noch unbedingt machen! :-) Werde dich mal anmailen.
