Silence and Defiance

During the silence today I thought of those people blown apart but ultimately saved the lives of so many others because they took the full force of the blast. And then those that are severely injured for life, physically and/or mentally.

And I also thought about the little children in Iraq blown apart by the latest suicide bombing.

Lives which will never be the same again.

I've blogmarked you because I want to spend some time reading your past posts. I'm an ex-Londoner and have German friends who are anglophiles so it would be good to get your take on life in the city.
