August 30, 2005What do you think what hardware I need to run WinXP, Firefox, Thunderbird etc. for my parents.
Just for interest, why don't you want to use Mac OS X and a Mac Mini instead?
I don't fancy teaching them how to use a Mac Mini.
But you do fancy teaching your mother what a Porn Dialler is? Don't forget also to teach them the difference between a worm, a virus, a trojan, spyware, adware, scumware, and malicious activeX controls. Because you will spend the next three years explaining why they can't stop pop-ups of big hairy fannies from appearing every time they turn it on.
