Bridges From The City (2)
February 09, 2007I'm quite lucky to look after one of our clients that is based in the office building on top of Cannon Street Station. That means, I have easy access to the roof garden that gives you a very different view and perspective over the river and all surroundings.
When the new London Bridge was built (the one on the picture), the old one had to be removed first, of course. But what doing with an old bridge you want to replace with a new one? So as bustling as the British are they thought of selling it and even found some one to buy it. Some American folks were very pretty keen to buy it because they were thinking of buying one of London's landmarks: Tower Bridge. The deal was closed and Tower Bridge still stands where it is on the picture. Full Story here.
